School Uniform
Uniform:
Nursery Uniform
- Navy blue joggers with school logo
- Red sweatshirt or T-shirt with school logo
- Trainers or sensible shoes that the children fasten and unfasten themselves
Uniform for boys and girls from Reception to Year 6:
- A dark blue sweatshirt or a dark blue cardigan, with the school logo (These can be bought from Whittakers, Shipley)
- Pale blue short sleeved polo shirt.
- Dark grey trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore
- Girls may wear trousers but they must be sensible and not fashion trousers
- Blue checked dress in Summer term with white tights or white socks
- Sensible plain black footwear e.g smart boots, unbranded trainers, or shoes
- Plain socks or tights in dark blue, dark grey white or black
- Children may wear navy, grey or charcoal and unpatterned headscarves for religious reasons. For health and safety reasons it is important that these headscarves are securely in place and not loose.
All children in school have PE/games lessons every week. They need the following kit:
- Black or navy shorts
- White or pale blue T-shirt
- Plain black or navy tracksuit bottoms
- Tracksuit top (or school jumpers)
- Trainers
Earrings must be removed by the child for PE
Year 5 children go swimming and need:
- A full swimsuit or trunks.
- Goggles may be worn but are not recommended.
- Long hair must be tied back and swimming caps are allowed.
- Jewellery must not be worn at all.
EYFS children often learn outside or in the school woods and need:
- Wellington boots

Unbranded items can also be bought from a wide range of supermarkets and high-street retailers.
School bags are also available from Whittakers, Shipley
Hair – Hair must be neat and tidy at all times. Hair accessories should be plain, practical and either neutral or in the school colours. No novelty or fashion items.
Jewellery – Simple digital and analogue watches and one pair of small stud earrings may be worn. Religious jewellery such as a Cross and Sikh Kara are also allowed.
Make up and Cosmetics – Children are not allowed to wear make up to school. Nails should be of a suitable length for school and not decorated.
Adaptations for SEN children may be made in line with their additional needs. These are considered on a case-by-case basis, through consultation with the SENDCo or Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
All uniform must be clearly named with your child's first and last name - preferably with iron-on or sewn-in name tags. You should check the legibility of your name labels regularly to ensure these are useful.
