Class Saints
In response to Pope Francis’ call to holiness, the saints can play an important role in motivating our pupils. They inspire us to lead joyful lives, serve as role models, teach us that holiness means being who you are, and they pray for us from heaven - giving us the strength to be who God created us to be.
Each class has selected a saint who resonates with them and to whom they will dedicate the rest of their time as St. Walburga’s: They pray to them daily; will get to learn more and more about them each year on their journey through school; and will celebrate their feast day in class.
To help pass on their faith, the outgoing Year 6 class will research and consider nominations from the school community for the incoming Foundation Stage children.
